Dr Arik Pinhasov (Dentist)
Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, Dr Arik has always been inspired to provide optimal healthcare to the community. Having previously worked as a pharmacist manager for a number of years, he gained an affinity to effectively communicate and provide personalised patient care of the highest calibre. His focus within the practice is on dental services such as general dentistry, kids’ dentistry, endodontics, root canal therapy, wisdom teeth and extractions.
Dr Arik always puts patients as a number one priority and is committed to providing personalised and painless dental experience to his patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr Arik enjoys playing soccer, drumming and photography.
Dr Roman Pinkus, Dentist
Dr Roman Pinkus feels he’s chosen the perfect profession. Inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his family from a very young age, Roman enjoys bringing his enthusiasm for helping people to his work. His focus within the practice is on general dentistry, dental implants, kids’ dentistry, Invisalign and ClearCorrect aligners.
He is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Roman received his dental degree from La Trobe University Victoria and, since graduation, has completed numerous post-graduate courses on all aspects of dentistry. In addition to his general dentistry background, his particular special interests are in dental implants and teeth straightening.
Dr JY Ng, Dentist
Dr JY graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and worked in private practice in Ballarat for a number of years. It was there where he was lucky to be mentored by good people who imparted excellent dentistry skills and, more importantly, the ethics of a kind dentist.
He is passionate about delivering the highest level of patient care and changing people’s traditional expectations of a dental visit. His focus within the practice includes general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and oral surgery.
Sharon, Oral Health Therapist
A vital member of the Dickson Street Dental clinical team, Sharon is our resident oral hygiene therapist. Working together with our patients, she is committed to making our patients’ regular check and cleans as comprehensive and comfortable as possible.
With a special affinity for children, Sharon is experienced in connecting with her younger patients in the dental chair. She is focused on building relationships based on trust while delivering the exceptional dental care that is synonymous with the practice. Working with children, Sharon aims to support all her patients by developing correct oral hygiene practices early.
Michaela, Front Office Coordinator
Michaela has always loved both dentistry and working with people. Combining these passions, she found her perfect role as a Front Office Coordinator at Dickson Street Dental, and we’re thrilled that she’s a part of our team.
Meeting new people and expanding her knowledge in dentistry excites her every day. She is grateful to have a job that makes her eager to come to work every morning and see all the patients-like yourself!
When she’s not at work, Michaela enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves travelling to new places, going on long walks to explore nature, and immersing herself in a good book. Michaela finds joy in connecting with others and cherishes the moments she spends with loved ones.
